I just saw Microcosmos - an awesome documentary about the tiny creatures that live in our world. They use time-lapse photography to show how a flower blooms, or a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. What would it be like to work the other way? To take one picture every year for a hundred years? Or a thousand? What would a picture of the macrocosmos be like?
